The medical director of the Police Hospital DCOP, Dr Iddi Musah has made a fervent appeal to government to ensure that the contractor working on the hospital’s expansion project returns to site.
He said work on the project has come to a standstill due to lack of funds.
According to Dr Musah, the hospital is facing acute accommodation challenges and the earlier a solution is found the better.
He made the statement when the assembly member for kaadjaanor, Emmanuel Nyarko Baah donated drugs, medical equipment and accessories to the hospital.
Mr Nyarko Baah said he solicited the items from an NGO in North Carolina, USA Loving Arms International which he shipped at his personal cost to Ghana.
