It has become evident that there is a rise in the number of Ghanaian private businesses being threatened and harassed by persons apparently close to the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
In most cases, the threats and harassment are purely political and inspired by personal interests and sheer greed with the orchestrators hiding behind the new found expression: “oh the company belongs to Lordina. The registered owners are fronting”.
Checks show this growing injustice is happening on the blind side of the President and the hapless business owners have no choice but to either kowtow to the dictates of the political bullies or risk harsh victimization which affects the fortunes of their companies.
