Colonel Isaac Amponsah, the Director of Army Intelligence has been appointed as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) of President Akufo-Addo, DAYBREAK gathers.
He takes over from Brigadier General BK Onwona.
Brigadier General Onwona has been promoted to Major General and has been posted to Training Doctrine (TRADOC) as Commandant.
Brigadier General Aphour, who was the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Central Command also moves to GHQ (COS) A/ DCOS (Operations &Training) with Brigadier General Asare replacing him as the GOC.
Strangely, Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie who was on an Observer Mission in Sudan ready to be released from the service has been promoted to Brigadier General.
As though that is not enough to raise eyebrows, Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie has also been appointed Director General in charge of Public Relations.
