-Dr Bawumia Congratulates New Officers
Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has congratulated all the newly elected National Executive Officers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the just-ended National Executive Election of the Party.
With the exception of the Natuonal Women’s Organiser and the National Nasara Coordinator, delegates of the governing NPP elected new faces for all the National Executive Council positions, with the most notable ones being the election of Stephen Ntim as Chairman and Justin Kodua Frempong as General Secretary.
Congratulating the winners, Vice President Bawumia said he is looking forward to working with them, and also had some encouraging words for those who could not make it.
“Congratulations to all the newly elected and returning National Officers of our dear party. I look forward to working with you,” Dr Bawumia wrote on his social media handles.
“To the other candidates who didn’t make it, I say to you, well done and better luck next time.
While calling for unity from all front, Dr. Bawumia said he is looking forward to working with everyone to push the agenda of government, and also grow the party to sustain political power entrusted to the NPP by Ghanaians.
“We are one family, and it is important for us to stay united to help push the agenda of government and also grow our party to win further win the confidence of Ghanaians,” added the Vice President.
The newly elected national executives have been sworn into office, and will steer the affairs of the party until 2026.
Their topmost task, however, is to guide the NPP to victory in the 2024 general elections.
